Risks and Challenges
We understand that every crowdfunding campaign has its challenges when it comes to the production of the games, specifically when dealing with manufacturing, shipping, and logistics worldwide. Creative Games Studio - CGS is the company that successfully founded "The Towers of Arkhanos" and "Chronicles of Drunagor: Age of Darkness" Kickstarter projects before. And we have successfully delivered the game to all backers, earlier than expected for Arkhanos and on time for CoD:AoD, even though it was produced and delivered during the worldwide pandemic. There are some challenges that we have already faced and overcome, since we have successfully launched, produced, and delivered two games. New risks and difficulties are sure going to appear but we are prepared to face and solve them as well.
We at CGS analyze every risk possibility and develop a plan to minimize those risks by constructing a close relationship with our partners that will manufacture and ship Apocalypse to you. We will manufacture the games with a specialized Chinese factory that's made dozens of other board games with no delays.
Chronicles of Drunagor: Age of Darkness Apocalypse is almost complete, and has all of its illustration and graphic design work done. We are now working with reviewers to start the pre-press process before the project goes live. The only time to be spent on the game after the Campaign ends is finishing some Missions and elements unlocked on Gamefound. So the delivery date is an estimate, but we are very confident there will be no delays.
We are Creative Games Studios, and we are game lovers, we are counting on you to support us on Gamefound.
Refunds and cancellation
DISCLAIMER: Please be aware that the game presented in this campaign it is not final. Rules may still be tweaked and changed, layout and graphics may still be altered. So, if you see anything in here that isn't the same later, understand that during the Gamefound the project is still in development and all aspects are subject to improvements.
By pledging to this project, you acknowledge that the final look, components, and content of the rewards (and the project) are subject to change and may differ substantially from what is presented on this Gamefound project page. This is not a pre-order. You also acknowledge that throughout this campaign page there are some pictures of the actual product. These are mere prototypes. None of them represent the rewards of this campaign.
After 30 days from the delivery date to your door, we will not accept complaints related to the game box contents (missing components, damaged components, etc.).
After 6 months from the shipment date, we will not accept complaints related to the shipment of items (damaged package, lost or missing contents, etc.).
After 12 months from the shipment date, we will not accept any complaints related to this campaign. Our customer service will be available for questions, replacement of parts and other standard practices.
REFUND TERMS:
An order can be canceled and fully refunded before the end of the campaign by clicking on the applicable button on Gamefound.
Regarding the payments made through Gamefound:
• You can get a full refund without any conditions within 14 days after the end of the campaign.
• You can get 80% refund without any conditions from the 15th day after the end of the campaign to the day of the Production starts. This date will be announced in an update.
Regarding payments made through the Pledge Manager:
• You can get a full refund without any conditions within 14 days after the payment, not 14 days after the Pledge Manager closes.
• You can get a 80% refund without any conditions from the 15th day after the payment to the day of the Production starts. This date will be announced in an update.
The refunds are made by default in USD through the Pledge Manager. Transaction fees may be applied by the transaction operator (normally Stripe). If the refund through the Pledge Manager is not possible (for instance if the debit/credit card expired, or because of the use of a virtual card, or for any other reason), the refund will be made with a bank wire. Additional bank fees may apply depending on the bank and the country.
