The Escape Plan is the most important part of the game. It tells players the layout of the map, any special conditions or effects to be aware of, and the surprises that are hidden in the game.

Remember, during the game you must collect items to be able to advance in your objective to defeat the boss and Escape from Arkham Asylum!

As you move your Super-Villain across the Board Game, the tiles’ content will be revealed. But you can’t move without consequences: each time you do it, a Nailed! token will be deployed on the board. If two of them are in the same room, a group of Adversaries will appear!

The dice are customized for Batman: Escape From Arkham Asylum. There are Successes, Opportunities and... Batman himself! And that will be the worst symbol for you.

Combat works by pitting the opponent's values against those of the character. The success or failure of the fight will be determined depending on the Opponent's strength and abilities and on your roll result and the additional traits of the Super-Villain.

This is the Alert Level. We will start the game at the lowest level, that is, Green Level, and it will increase as we perform some actions, like Combat. When the Alert Level reaches the Yellow Level, the Combat will be more difficult and stronger opponents will be added to the board. Finally, if the Red Level is reached, Batman will appear.

If the Alert Level continues to rise it will end up reaching the Red Level, at which point Batman will enter the game! If The Bat appears in a room with a Super-Villain, there will be an immediate combat situation! The fight with Batman will have different mechanics as he is the worst threat in the game. This will be the ultimate challenge you will have to face in Arkham Asylum. So try to be careful and avoid activating the red alert!
